Jean-Yves Péron's "I Vicini" series is made from grapes harvested in Piedmont. This 100% moscato (muscat) is vinified dry; it therefore offers the aromatic and musky nose specific to the grape variety. On the palate, we find the charming scent of muscat in retro-olfaction, but with the tension and freshness that the winemaker loves for his dry whites. No filtration, no added sulfites. Straightness, tension and finesse: a very beautiful mountain muscat.

In 2017, Jean-Yves Péron decided to expand his range by collecting organic grapes in the heart of the Italian Piedmont. This resulted in several vintages, including this 100% Barbera red. The second most widely used red grape variety in Italy after Sangiovese, Barbera produces full-bodied, colorful wines with notes of red fruits. This is the case with this one, a great wine in every sense of the word. Long, generous, deep, both serious and joyful.

The harvest macerates in mille-feuille (layers of destemmed grapes and whole bunches to control the astringency of the tannins) before aging for one year and eight months. The grapes are hand-harvested between September and October, then ferment for two to eight weeks depending on the grape variety. Aging is six months in oak barrels.

This 100% Cabernet Franc comes from Vincent Wallard's Loire winery. Grown in clay-limestone soils, the grapes are vinified using a mille-feuille process (skin-on maceration using layers of destemmed grapes and whole bunches to control the astringency of the tannins) before aging for twenty months. Excellent with red meats and wild mushrooms (particularly porcini mushrooms), it can be aged for twenty years.

The white is made from chardonnay on volcanic and clay-limestone soils. This is a wine for pleasure and indulgence that has received the most attentive care: the grapes are harvested when overripe, raisined and botrytized (a little noble rot appears on the bunches). The wine, with its fine sparkle, is aged in barrels for twelve months. All this gives a great richness of taste with this “layered” structure that we love in great natural wines: fruit, sweetness, acidity, just the right amount of structure and fullness, and a very delicious yeasty touch.
