At YARD, two rooms, two atmospheres to discover, it's up to you to choose the one that suits you best. The restaurant side for a more intimate moment or the cellar side, leaning against the counter: in both cases, you can feast on the chef's dishes while drinking natural wines. Here, good drinks, good food and sharing are the keywords!
Lose yourself a little in the quiet neighborhoods of the 11th arrondissement of Paris and you'll eventually stumble upon a small sloping street, rue de Mont-Louis. In its center, a restaurant that looks like an English provincial pub - black yet bright facades, painted wood, marble tables and wrought iron cellar, old-school Hip-Hop playing on the speakers: there's no doubt, you've arrived at YARD, temple of natural wine in Paris and the Parisian elder of its sibling establishments.

Chef Quentin Guillaume is in charge of the kitchen. He offers refined and flavorful dishes, made from organic products and, above all, seasonal ones: a cuisine that celebrates the earth, letting the raw product speak for itself, highlighting fresh, vegetable, and gourmet elements through creative dishes, inspired by French specialties and those from elsewhere.
Meat lovers will also find their happiness here: take a look at the chef's suggestion; often, it will be a generous rib of beef or pork, supposedly for sharing. Here again, it's the choice of raw products that makes the difference, as well as the chef's perfect cooking!
Speaking of sharing, the menu starts with a plethora of appetizers – it's up to you to decide if this is the beginning of your traditional appetizer-main-dessert or if you want to play it tapas style: at the wine bar, our regulars tend to order multiple plates to taste everything! The desserts, like everything else, are homemade!
The entire menu is available at both the bistro and the cellar. The menu changes regularly, with the seasons.
250+ NATURAL WINES IN CELLAR
Since 2018, our wine shop has specialized in natural wines: the fruit of the tireless work of passionate independent winemakers who strive to preserve the terroirs, nature, and living organisms as best as possible. In the vineyard, the estates work according to the principles of organic or biodynamic farming, whether certified or not. The grapes are mostly harvested by hand. In the cellar, fermentations are mainly carried out by indigenous yeasts (yeasts naturally present on the grape skins), and winemaking is done without aggressive inputs or oenological techniques that could harm the grapes and wine. Most of our wines have no added sulfites, and the few exceptions to the rule have minimal levels (always below 30 mg/L). This charter, developed in partnership with natural wine dealers Culinaries, allows us to offer a vibrant, reliable, and unique selection.
More than 250 wine references available in our cellar – that's the minimum to satisfy every palate! What's more, it's a revolving stock: some bottles will, of course, be available long-term, but others change every month, according to the seasons, allocations, and the desires of our teams. Reds, whites, oranges, and natural sparkling wines – that's the minimum for a wine bar in Paris! From easy-drinking French wines to Grand Cru appellations, from powerful and tannic reds to mineral and ultra-fresh whites, from small, confidential estates to special cuvées made exclusively for our wine cellar: our selection is designed to satisfy every desire.
The cellar allows you to take a tour of France from your wine glass: Bourgogne, Bordeaux, Loire Valley, Beaujolais, Côtes du Rhône, Jura, Jurançon, Languedoc, Auvergne... But if you fancy something from further afield, we have that too! For example, in the cellar you can discover wines from Greece by Sous le Végétal by Patrick Bouju, wines from Italy by Corva Gialla, from Etna by Frank Cornelissen, from Spain by Partida Creus, the Serbian cuvées from Domaine Bongiraud, or even the Portuguese gems from Ladidadi Pinheiro...
Wines by the glass change EVERY DAY. Ask to taste! Our wines are available for takeaway: apply a 30% discount to the prices displayed in the cellar to find out the retail price!
Private events: Your tailor-made events
Weddings, after-work events, dinners with friends, birthdays... For all your private or professional events, YARD Paris 11e is available for private hire! The wine bar area only, the restaurant, or the entire venue, for lunch or dinner, from Monday to Sunday: the choice is yours. Let us know your desires for filling your plates and glasses, and our teams will do what is necessary to give your guests a unique experience, exceeding your expectations.
As you can see, our teams know how to prepare beautiful tastings! In addition to assisting you in selecting the wines for your evening or the food and wine pairings for your meal, they can also prepare a unique tasting for you, on the theme of your choice: introduction to natural wine, discovery of orange wine, wines from France, Italy or elsewhere, exploration of a wine region...
SUNDAY TASTINGS & WINEMAKER MEETINGS
At YARD Paris 11th, every Sunday, tradition means tasting! At 5 PM, our head sommelier Enzo invites you to the wine cellar – or on the terrace on beautiful summer days: he will then uncork 4 to 5 vintages with the aim of exploring a particular wine region, a type of wine, a winemaking method, in a small group… His theme changes every week!

We are fortunate to be close to our winemakers: it's not uncommon for one of them to visit us in Paris and animate the neighborhood in the process! Regularly, tasting evenings open to all, the "Winemakers & Wine" events, take place, allowing you to meet them, taste their wines and, most importantly, talk directly with them.
Once a year, at the end of October, over 30 winemakers and producers from France and elsewhere gather for the famous YARD Festival, the natural wine and good food fair by YARD and Culinaries! A unique event in the heart of Paris, a true celebration of natural wine, in the presence of all those who make it their leitmotif.
Other events are of course periodically organized on Rue de Mont-Louis: numerous pop-ups with rising chefs taking over the kitchens of the wine bar or restaurant for an evening, the unmissable Beaujolais Nouveau, DJ Sets, Fête de la Musique... Follow us on Instagram to stay updated!

Come to 6 Rue de Mont-Louis in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, located between Paris 12e, Père Lachaise, and Rue Oberkampf.
To get there, you can take Metro Line 2 and get off at the Philippe Auguste stop: you'll exit right at the top of our street. Alternatively, you can take Line 9, get off at the Charonne stop, and walk 7 minutes to find us. You can also take bus lines 71, 61, 69, N16, or N34 and get off at Philippe Auguste or Roquette - Père Lachaise.
YARD Paris 11e has younger siblings! In the heart of the Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées Food court, the wine shop is a YARD. Then, head to Lyon: YARD Lyon is a wine bar on the Croix-Rousse plateau (Lyon 4e), Little YARD Lyon is a local pizzeria in the Croix-Rousse slopes (Lyon 1er) and YARD Bellecour is a wine shop and grocery store directly located on Place Bellecour (Lyon 2e). Of course, in all these places, we also offer the best natural wine!
