What is a no added sulfite wine?
Wine without added sulfites, often associated with natural wine, is a form of ancestral winemaking based on minimal intervention, with no added inputs or sulfites, in order to preserve the pure expression of the grape and the terroir. Although sulfites are naturally present during fermentation, these wines are distinguished by their authenticity, their digestibility, and a more humane and sustainable agricultural approach.
Discovering Natural White Wine
Natural white wine differs from organic and biodynamic wine in that it is made without inputs, relying on organic grapes, indigenous yeasts, and almost no sulfites. It offers a freer expression of the terroir, grape variety, and vintage, with styles varying greatly from tense minerality to complex oxidization. Choosing a natural white wine is both a unique tasting experience and a commitment to viticulture that respects living things.
What is the difference between natural wine and organic wine?
