Kuku Yodel Blanc 2018, Domaine La Sorga Made from Muscat of Alexandria vines growing on the schist soils of the high slopes of Hérault, Kuku Yodel is a dry white wine. The destemmed grapes macerate for forty-five days in vats, then the wine is aged for one year. Its aromas of mandarin, verbena and lemongrass call for hard cheeses: an old Parmesan is ideal. Magnum El Nino Rouge 2013, Le Casot des Mailloles Carignan, Syrah and Mourvèdre from old, low-yielding vines, requiring considerable work, especially on the more than rugged terrain of the Banyuls hillsides.
