You dreamed of it, we made it happen: you'll find an appetizing menu of local pizzas fresh from a super wood-fired oven, and a fine selection of natural wines. Dig in!
ARTISANAL REGIONAL ITALIAN PIZZAS AND TOP-QUALITY INGREDIENTS
24 hours of rising time for our pizza dough, no less - that's the secret to its digestibility, its fineness, its crispiness, its delicate air pockets, and its unique flavor. Here, the dough is an original recipe, created by our pizzaiolo, using organic French flours. A rarity in Lyon 1er! The mastery of cooking is the sum of the expertise of our Italian kitchen team and our high-performance wood-fired oven.
Our restaurant's pizzas are topped with exceptional ingredients: we make it a point of honor to rigorously select our suppliers. Fresh vegetables come from Agriz's short and local supply chain, a 100% organic greengrocer based near Lyon. The vast majority of our meats are aged and come from the famous local butcher Tête Bech, whose reputation is well-established as it is said to be the oldest butcher shop in Lyon. This is where we get our ham, which customers love! Here, too, the quality of the products is incomparable: they work with a handful of carefully selected farmers based on their organic methods. We also work with Olio di Serra, the Italian-Lyonnais, from whom we source our Italian olive oil, of course, but also a host of artisanal and authentic products from Gargano and Puglia in Italy - for example, that sublime Italian tomato sauce, enhanced with a hint of basil, or their sublime Mozzarella di Bufala.
Just like our pizza dough, here, everything that can be is homemade: our bolognese sauce simmers for at least 3 hours, our pesto is the result of a secret recipe... Even the chili oil and lemonade, we infuse them ourselves! And the desserts? Homemade too! And how can you end the meal without indulging in a superb tiramisu?
On the menu, you will of course find the Margherita, the Marinera, the 4 cheese, tomato bases, white bases and all the essential pizza recipes of an Italian restaurant... but that's not all: creativity is key at Little YARD Lyon, in addition to permanent creations, each week, we create a new recipe, based on seasonal products.
Our pizzas are available on site, reservation is entirely possible, and you can also order them for takeout or delivery on UberEats and Deliveroo!
A NATURAL WINE CELLAR TO ENHANCE YOUR PIZZAS
Younger sibling of the natural wine bar YARD Lyon Croix-Rousse and the wine merchant grocery store YARD place Bellecour, Little YARD naturally offers a beautiful selection of natural wines! Wines produced with the utmost respect for nature, and the people who work to protect it. And for good reason, Léna, our manager, is originally a professional sommelier: she knows her wines inside out, and will be able to advise you on the vintage that will enhance your pizza.
The wine cellar is also available for takeout!
Private hires: Your bespoke events
It's possible to privatize a room, or even the entire pizzeria if you wish! For your birthday, an after-work event, a team dinner, or any other private or professional event, Little YARD Lyon 1er is ready to welcome you like royalty! Italian buffet, seated meal or standing format, pre-selected pizzas or made-to-order on the day, a pizza recipe created especially for you beforehand: the format of your privatization is customizable, tell us your desires, our restaurant adapts!
Bonus: Léna will be happy to help you choose wines for successful pairings! She can even organize a tailor-made natural wine tasting for you if you want to add a quality animation to your event.

Yes, of course! What would a pizzeria be without Margherita, 4 cheese, or vegetable pizzas? We offer several vegetarian pizzas on the menu. Some change with the seasons. You can also customize your pizzas without animal-based ingredients; feel free to ask, and we'll customize it just for you!

Yes, our terrace is on the street, the famous ascent of the great hillside of Lyon's Croix-Rousse, right next to our restaurant! Be aware, however, that seats are limited, and in summer, they go like hotcakes! First come, first served!
Yes, dogs are welcome here – inside the restaurant as well as on our street-side terrace, we love our four-legged friends – a water bowl is available if needed!
