MUZ Rouge 2021
Partida Creus
Here's a great organic and natural vermouth from Partida Creus, an Iberian classic from Baix-Penedés (Catalonia). Made without additives or sulfites, MUZ Ver-Mut is a fortified sweet wine with plant maceration. Vermouth in the Spanish sense is not a mixology ingredient but a table wine made to accompany tapas and the finest dishes.
Vinification
To achieve this alchemic work that is MUZ Catalan vermouth, Partida Creus brings together a barrel of red wine, another of young wine and a third of dry white wine, all with the addition of a secret blend of macerated aromatic herbs. The rest? That's also a secret.
Tasting
MUZ vermouth from Partida Creus is a fruity, smooth and original treat, to share with friends. Black berries, blackcurrant, blackberry, a fine bitterness and a slight sweet sensation. Packaged in a one-liter bottle, MUZ will pair with all imaginable tapas, zakouskis, mezes and other kemias. We will also like it with Iberian charcuterie or smoked sardines.
Learn more about Partida Creus
Partida Creus is an organic, biodynamic and natural estate in southern Catalonia (Bonastre, Baix-Penedés) cultivated by Massimo Marchiori and Antonella Gerosa, formerly architects in Barcelona. By recovering abandoned vines, they saved a stunning diversity of traditional Catalan grape varieties from oblivion. On these sandy, clay-limestone or clay-gravelly soils, they produce natural wines without added sulphites.
A Catalan ampelothèque
Vinyater, sumoll, garrut, monastrell, ull de perdiu, ull de llebre, sumoll, queixal de llop, cariñena, trepat, ceciat parent, maccabeu, parellada, pansé, vinel·lo, bobal, cartoixà vermell or xarel·lo (among others): it is a true conservatory of native Catalan grape varieties that Partida Creus takes care of in natural mode. The wines reflect this diversity, with the winegrowers striving to best convey the signature of the soil and the grape variety. The wines, fresh, vibrant, lush, and straightforward, breathe life.
The Partida Creus look
Single varietals are common at Partida Creus, alongside blends, all in the styles dear to Catalonia: still wine, sparkling wine (cava), or even vermouth. The bottles are instantly recognizable: plain glass or covered with ivory labels, the vintage being indicated by two large stenciled initials.

Partida Creus is an important estate, both in terms of winemaking and history—we're talking about the history of the vine in Catalonia. Massimo Marchiori and Antonella Gerosa, originally from Piedmont—and even from the Langhe region, where wine is well-known—first pursued careers as architects in Barcelona. But the wine bug bit them, and soon they abandoned the big city and its sophistication for the vineyards of southern Catalonia, in Bonastre in Baix-Penedés. There they find a quantity of abandoned vineyards planted with a dizzying diversity of traditional Catalan grape varieties that they passionately revive to save these varieties – and their wines – from oblivion. For them, it is not just a matter of heritage rescue, no: it is a matter of taste and nature. Of natural wines, which they will never stop making from now on on these sandy, poor, clay-limestone or clay-gravel soils, poor and poorly irrigated, where the vines suffer to give their best juice. Massimo and Antonella practice organic, biodynamic viticulture, entirely manual and natural in order to give new life to these wines. Vinyater, sumoll, garrut, monastrell, ull de perdiu, ull de llebre, sumoll, queixal de llop, cariñena, trepat, subirat parent, maccabeu, parellada, pansé, vinel·lo, bobal, cartoixà vermell or xarel·lo: Partida Creus is a veritable conservatory of native Catalan grape varieties. It also grows moscatel, grenache, merlot and cabernet (among others). Few wineries can boast growing so many different grape varieties. The wines reflect this diversity, with the winemakers striving to best convey the signature of the soil and the grape variety: single-variety wines are common among them, alongside extensive blends, all in the styles dear to Catalonia: still wine, "ancestral" sparkling wine, and even vermouth. The bottles themselves are works of art: bare glass, simply marked with two large stenciled initials that denote the vintage. The wines, fresh, vibrant, lush yet always straightforward and impeccably juicy and fruity, exude life. The arrival of a Partida Creus at the table always elicits cries of satisfaction.
MUZ Vermouth 2024,
A unique artisanal vermouth, blending tradition and creativity
The MUZ Ver 2024, created by Partida Creus, is much more than just a vermouth. A meticulous blend of natural red wine, oxidative white wine, and young wine, it is enriched with a maceration of herbs based on a family recipe dating back to 1870. This sweet and spicy spirit is a vibrant tribute to the winemakers' Italian roots and their passion for natural wines.
Tasting: Between sweetness and complexity
The nose reveals a unique aromatic richness, blending notes of citrus, dried flowers, medicinal herbs, and sweet spices. On the palate, the initial sweetness is balanced by a subtle bitterness and a long, complex finish. MUZ Ver is a sensory experience in itself, with a perfect balance between tradition and modernity.
A refined aperitif or cocktail ally
Served chilled, between 6 and 8°C, this vermouth is ideal as an aperitif, neat or over ice, accompanied by a twist of orange. It can also be used to create refined and original cocktails. At the table, it goes wonderfully with strong cheeses, seafood, or grilled vegetable dishes.
My Sweet Navine Blanc 2011,
Les Vignes de Babass Dervieux
A small bottle but a great wine! 100% Chenin, My Sweet Navine is a late-harvested sweet white wine from the schist plot where the estate's other Chenins are also grown. A delicate amber color, with notes of citrus and candied fruit on the nose. On the palate, it displays a surprising freshness despite the residual sugar: this is explained by the lack of sorting, as the grapes are at varying stages of ripeness. We thus benefit from green berries, ripe berries, and varying degrees of noble rot. A slight sparkle gives way to a beautiful length, always with notes of candied fruit.
A natural wine with no added sulfites.

Nails and Dust Red 2021
Behind this metallic and dusty appellation (the translation of the cuvée's name) lies a wine of character, lively and mineral, full of sap and vitality. It is made from Minervois Carignan grapes macerated and crushed for six days, resulting in a beautiful extraction of tannins that need to soften slightly. At the time of writing (March 2023), this wine still requires approximately one year of bottle aging before it can be optimally enjoyed. After this time, it will reveal all its passion and energy. An excellent companion to red meats, grilled meats, grilled sausages, and good times with friends.

Founded and run by Claire Sage and Aimé Duveau, located in Chanteuges (Haute-Loire), Belly Wine Experiment is as much an experience as a winemaking business. The creative duo has a lot in common: Claire is the sister of Daniel Sage, a fan of underwater wine aging but above all an importer of Catalan wines. Hence the presence of Catalan grape varieties in Belly Wine Experiment's blends, alongside Burgundy, Auvergne, and Jura grape varieties, all readily found in the same bottle. Aimé is the son of Manu Duveau, a poet-winemaker from Auvergne, a former stonemason, and a great winemaker of local Gamays at his Domaine de l'Égrappille. Belly Wine Experiment's unique feature is the exoticism (in the literal sense) of its blends, with Catalan Xarello, for example, blending effortlessly with Puy-de-Dôme Gamay. The wines are made using semi-carbonic maceration, without the addition of chemical additives or excessive manipulation in the cellar. The winery is also known for its high-quality, vinous perries.

Fruity, with round, supple tannins, to be enjoyed with food and good company!

Learn more about Clos Lentiscus
In Sitges, Catalonia, in the Penedès appellation, Clos Lentiscus is an organic and natural wine estate located in the heart of the Garraf Natural Park. In a superb landscape of Mediterranean greenery, Manel Avinyo, nicknamed "the Bubbleman", his brother Joan and his daughter Núria specialize in cavas, sparkling wines made using the traditional method, and also make some still wines, all biodynamically, without added additives or sulfites.
History of Clos Lentiscus
The family has been established here since at least the 14th century. When the two brothers took over the estate, organic, biodynamic and additive-free winemaking replaced conventional practices, allowing this beautiful property to regain its former prestige: in the 19th century, its wines were sold in France and as far away as the Americas.
The Clos Lentiscus style
Purity, elegance and a crisp minerality characterize the organic and natural wines of Clos Lentiscus. This Catalan estate also produces still wines. The grape varieties are traditionally Catalan: Sumoll, Ull de Llebre, Xarel-lo, Cartoixà Vermell, Cariñena, and especially Malvasia from Sitges, accompanied by Tempranillo and Muscat from Alexandria. The vines are old, sometimes centuries old. No synthetic additives are used in the vineyard, where operations are dictated by the lunar phases. Pollination is facilitated by the presence of beehives, whose honey sometimes supports the secondary fermentation of the grapes.

To the eye, this wine reveals a clear and luminous color, with slightly golden highlights. The nose is aromatic and refined, with tangy notes of lemon, green apple, and a subtle floral touch. On the palate, it seduces with its vibrant freshness, marked minerality, and a saline finish reminiscent of sea spray. Its lively and light texture makes it an ideal companion for convivial moments.
