The Cuvée des Artistes by Sous le Végétal, published by Cousin Hub

A delicious freshness perceptible on the nose and in the mouth, a breadth and persistence that characterize great dry whites. A beautiful saline note that is accentuated on the finish, a sign of the transmission of mineral data to the wine through the grapes. This freshness is remarkable when we remember that Muscat is often the source of sweet and liqueur wines and that this one grew on the slopes of a volcano in the Aegean Sea, a region known for its heat. This Cuvée des Artistes is a dry white made from Muscat à petits grains, stamped by the hand of the actor and artist Hubert Koundé, creator of the streetwear brand Cousin Hub, and his sidekick BRUSK, who have given this vintage a label of their own. AfterBonté, this is the second edition of the YARD-Culinaries project of the Cuvée des Artistes, a creative encounter between art and natural wine for the pleasure of the eyes and the palate. Stay tuned for future editions, admire this one, and enjoy!

The hub by Cousin Hub should remind you of something: Hubert Koundé, the filmHatred, does it bring back memories? An actor and artist, Hubert is the creator of a sportswear-streetwear brand whose logo, representing an individual in free fall, takes up the famous phrase that serves as the film's subtitle: So far so good, declined without spaces (Jusquicitoutvabien) in French or English (Sofarsogood) on the brand's beanies, t-shirts, caps, and other bucket hats. Beyond common streetwear aesthetics, Cousin Hub's mission is to promote promising artists and to consume in line with the ecological and ethical issues of our time. It is with this in mind that Lyon-based artist BRUSK has partnered with the Cousin Hub brand by offering a stylized interpretation of its logo. A way for these two humanists to speak with one voice while highlighting the friendship and values that bind them.
Cousin Hub and BRUSK's partnership with this Cuvée des Artistes, no pun intended, is perfectly timed. It was on BRUSK's Lyon home turf that the two partners naturally chose the YARD for this collaboration. It was hand in hand that the two friends exhibited the screen prints they co-signed at the YARD Lyon in November 2021. And it is also to them that we owe the label of the new Cuvée des Artistes from YARD-Culinaries, a natural dry white of organic muscat à petits grains produced on the volcanic island of Samos as part of the Sous le Végétal project. Fresh, balanced and smooth, it exceeds the formula by its aromatic persistence so far so good… Just open a bottle and everything will go well beyond the expectations of the moment!
