A red composed of half thirty-year-old Syrahs grown on sandy-loam soil on half a hectare, and half Grenache Noir grown on half a hectare of the same soil on the same site. The freshness on the palate is explained by a fifteen-day carbonic maceration before pressing. Aging is six months in barrels, with racking and bottling by gravity without added sulfur.
