Frédéric Cossard

Frédéric Cossard is the natural version of Burgundy, which is not that common. He also represents two entities: the Domaine de Chassorney, which he cultivates, and SARL Frédéric Cossard, where he vinifies grapes from Burgundy's most prestigious "climats".

With this 2024 Fleurie cuvée, Frédéric Cossard explores the Beaujolais terroirs with the same high standards as his Burgundy wines. The vines are cultivated without synthetic products and the vinification is natural, allowing the grapes to express their full purity.

The color is a light, brilliant, and inviting ruby. The nose reveals a charming bouquet of fresh red fruits, raspberry, and cherry, accompanied by floral notes typical of the appellation, evoking rose and violet.

On the palate, the wine is supple, ethereal, with very fine tannins. The crisp fruit dominates, supported by a beautiful freshness that adds depth and drinkability. The finish is delicate, slightly spicy, and very persistent.

A wine of pleasure and sharing, perfect with simple and flavorful cuisine, white meats, roasted vegetables, or fine charcuterie. A Fleurie full of grace and spontaneity.
