Installé à Vignale Monferrato, dans le Piémont, Silvio Morando perpétue une tradition viticole familiale remontant à la fin du XIXe siècle. Sur une quinzaine d’hectares conduits en agriculture biologique, il travaille surtout les cépages historiques du Monferrato, avec une affection particulière pour le Grignolino, qu’il défend dans des versions fraîches, fines et peu interventionnistes.
