Fond Cyprès
If you serve this wine very chilled on a very hot day, you'll be thanked, because that's its purpose. Lively, tangy yet velvety, full of character, it can be drunk on any occasion and at any time of day. Cyprès de Toi Rosé offers a lovely color of soft salmon pink and wild strawberry, but make no mistake: it won't sing you a lullaby. Powerful and assertive, perfectly dry, beautifully balanced between fruit and acidity, it hasn't forgotten its Malbec of origin, whose grapes were purchased from a certified organic winemaker. Malbec, in fact, benefits from rosé vinification, as it is one of the varieties that produces very vinous rosés with substance. The grapes undergo direct pressing and traditional vinification, using indigenous yeasts and without additives. Settling is done in the cold and fermentation, as well as aging, are carried out in stainless steel vats. A light filtration is done before bottling.
To find out more
This Corbières estate is built on solid foundations: its two winemakers, Rodolphe and Laetitia, are also descendants of winemakers. Even before planting their first vine, they already had a clear objective: "to produce southern wines that reflect us, wines with character attached to our soils, with freshness and refined tannins." They want to obtain entirely natural wines, concentrates of terroir. In the heart of the old Corbières massif, they took over an old estate already planted with abandoned Carignan and Grenache vines, which had not seen any fertilizer or pesticides for years: these clean and vibrant soils were ideal conditions for launching into natural wine. Around this historic heart, they first planted Grenache Noir and Syrah, then a plot of white grape varieties: Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne. The estate has been Ecocert certified since 2010 and also complies with the Nature & Progrès charter. Vinification is carried out without the addition of sulfites or exogenous yeasts. "We make wines for pleasure," say Laetitia and Rodolphe. For them, natural wine is first assessed by taste, from the harvest. The vintages closely follow the plots, the musts are fruity, fluid, and complex. Fond Cyprès wines poetically evoke the estate's ecosystem and the vegetation that protects the plots: pine forests, shaded springs, the beauty of the natural environment that brings freshness to the wines and leaves the signature of the soil. Deliciously balanced between mineral imprint, plant environment and fruit expression, Fond Cyprès wines reflect the South: the caress of its sun, but also the freshness of its shadows.
Life of the party Red 2020
Life of the Party (more or less translatable as "the party animal") is an organic and natural red wine from the Cahors terroir, certified AB and Nature & Progrès. This blend of red grape varieties from the Southwest is made by Danis Bessières, winemaker at Danis dans la vigne, using grapes from his family estate in Antenet.
Vinification
Life of the Party, produced on clay-loam soils resting on limestone gravel, is made from the red grape varieties Malbec, Egiodola, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. In addition to the Cabernet Francs that are around ten years old, the vines are between 30 and 40 years old. The vinification is carried out without any additives, with a short maceration. No added sulfites, yeast or enzymes. The wine is aged in stainless steel vats.
Tasting
The garnet red color catches the eye and a large packet of fruit explodes in the mouth. Life of the Party, a joyful and free-spirited wine, is a natural, unadulterated red that's festive, convivial, and indulgent. The blend of grape varieties—in a region traditionally favored by Malbec alone—produces a supple, fruity, and nuanced result, perfect for any celebration. A board of charcuteries and salaisons will pay tribute to him, but you can also serve him at the table.

Under the Danis dans la vigne brand, on the Cahors terroir, Danis Bessières vinifies naturally the organic grapes purchased from his parents' property, the Domaine de l'Antenet, which was the first organic vineyard in Cahors in the early 1900s. 80.
Organic and natural since 1983

It was in 1983 that his grandfather obtained the organic label Lemaire-Boucher, followed by Nature & Progrès and then the organic labels AB and Eurofeuille. Danis Bessières continues this momentum.
Malbec, but not only
Malbec reigns over the Cadurcian region, but Danis also uses Cabernets, Jurançon Noir, Merlot and recently created grape varieties. This allows him to temper the density and opacity of the main grape variety. He also does not hesitate to produce single-varietal vintages of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc or Colombard.
Crapaud Licorne Rouge 2022
Danis dans la vigne
Under the enigmatic name of Crapaud Licorne stands an organic and natural red wine from the Cahors terroir, 100% Malbec, certified AB and Nature & Progrès. It is made by Danis Bessières (Danis dans la vigne) from organic grapes from his family's Domaine de l'Antenet.
Vinification
Danis Bessières's Crapaud Licorne is based on Malbec, the emblematic red (and even black) grape variety of Cahors. It comes from 30- to 40-year-old vines growing on clay-loam and limestone gravel soils. The vinification is carried out without any additives, with a short maceration. The aging is done in stainless steel vats.
Tasting
This deep purple-red color, no mistake, it's Malbec, the Cahors grape variety from which "black wines" are made. This red wine from Danis Bessières, dense, dark, full-bodied and rich in substance, fits the description well. Toad Unicorn needs local dishes and charcuterie from the region: the galabart black pudding from the Mayrinhac farm or the black pudding from the Collectif Padouen will accompany it with talent. If Malbec interests you, discover a completely different expression with Cyprès de toi rosé from Fond Cyprès.

YARD Rouge, Red 2023
Danis dans la vigne
With "YARD Rouge", Danis dans la vigne offers an uninhibited and lively version of Malbec, the emblematic grape variety of Cahors. Here, there's no excessive concentration or robust extraction: this 100% organic Malbec asserts its freedom and accessibility, in a natural version full of charm and personality.
A natural winemaking process, true to the fruit
From vines planted on clay-limestone soils in the Lot region, the grapes are cultivated without chemicals, respecting natural balances. The winemaking is artisanal: gentle maceration for two weeks, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, without oenological additives, followed by nine months of aging in stainless steel tanks. This choice preserves all the fruit's vibrancy, without masking the identity of the grape variety or the terroir.
A supple and tasty red
On tasting, YARD Rouge seduces with its open nose of ripe dark fruit aromas (plum, blackberry), accompanied by touches of dried fruit. On the palate, the texture is supple, the tannins are fine and well-integrated, with a lovely grain and a finish that retains freshness. The style is clean, pure, and invites indulgence without heaviness.
The natural wine for all occasions
Perfect at 14–16 °C, after a light decanting, YARD Rouge is perfect for an aperitif or at the table. It will pair wonderfully with slow-cooked dishes, grilled meats, or a nice charcuterie board. To be drunk within two years to fully enjoy its vibrant fruit.
Canotière Red 2021
Canotière is an organic and natural Cahors red wine produced by Danis Bessières (Danis dans la vigne) in the Vin de France category. It is part of his "Esprit du lieu" range of single-plot cuvées. The name of this cuvée alludes to the puppies that attack the grape pickers and to the meandering Lot River near the plot.
Vinification
The plot from which Canotière comes, on the banks of the Lot, is planted with Malbec, the emblematic grape variety of Cahors. Danis' single-plot cuvées are vinified by Danis with a certain neutrality, adapted to the grape variety, in order to highlight the vintage and the place. They are often "easier" than other cuvées.
Tasting
Canotière is a beautiful red wine from Cahors that has the particularity of not emphasizing the density of the grape variety. The somewhat delicate conditions of the vintage produced a refreshing, vegetal and minty wine. The olfactory attack evokes a mentholated chewing gum and the palate is very pleasant, fresh, fruity and herbaceous, with a cherry side without excess ripeness.

Unicorn Toad, Red 2024
Danis dans la vigne
Behind this playful name lies a seriously inspired cuvée: Crapaud Licorne (Unicorn Toad) is the free and natural vision of a modern Cahors, full of brilliance and sincerity. Produced by "Danis dans la vigne," a committed artisan winemaker, this 100% Malbec challenges the norms of an appellation often associated with power. Here, the focus is on finesse, fruit vibrancy, and freedom of expression.
A pure Malbec, precise winemaking
The grapes come from clay-limestone soils typical of the Lot region, cultivated according to organic farming principles (AB certified). After a gentle two-week maceration, fermentation occurs naturally, without oenological inputs or added yeasts. Nine months of aging in stainless steel tanks preserves all the freshness and energy of the grape, resulting in a lively, digestible, and deeply sincere wine.
An elegant and distinctive profile
Upon tasting, Crapaud Licorne reveals a dark color with purplish reflections. The nose opens with aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), pepper, and subtly herbaceous notes. On the palate, the texture is fine, almost silky, with beautiful ripeness and a fresh, spicy finish. The tannins are present but delicate, perfectly balancing the fruit's richness.
A companion for fine dining
Decanted one hour before serving, between 14 and 16°C, this wine brilliantly accompanies stews, grilled meats, or artisanal charcuterie. It can also age for 5 to 10 years in the cellar, gaining complexity while retaining its free spirit.
Cathédrale Rouge 2020
Danis dans la Vigne
A monumental cuvée, balancing verticality and finesse
With Cathédrale 2020, Danis dans la vigne has created a powerful, complex, and meditative wine, reflecting its evocative name. This exceptional cuvée blends Malbec and Cabernet Franc, two noble grape varieties from the Southwest, grown in clay-limestone soil cultivated organically. A natural, lively wine, free of oenological additives, that embraces the long haul: 3 years of aging in barrels, topped up only once a year, in a deliberate oxidative approach, followed by a year of rest in stainless steel tanks, then a year of refinement in the bottle.
A rare and demanding process that gives birth to a wine with a deep aromatic profile, a silky texture, and remarkable complexity, capable of gracefully enduring through the years.
A noble, ample, patinated wine
From the first glance, the dark robe with garnet reflections announces the wine's richness. The nose opens with stewed black and red fruits, evolving into notes of toasted almond, cocoa, sweet spices, and undergrowth. On the palate, the texture is dense, velvety, but never heavy. The Cabernet Franc brings a welcome freshness that balances the power of the Malbec. The long and harmonious finish reveals a saline and slightly smoky touch.
Cathédrale 2020 is a gastronomic cuvée par excellence, designed for ambitious pairings: red meats, feathered game, truffle dishes, or even certain aged cheeses. Serve between 16 and 18°C, with no need for decanting. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for 10 years or more.
Paoudou Red 2022,
Paoudou is a 100% Cahors Malbec red wine, organic and natural, produced in Vin de France by Danis Bessières of Danis dans la vigne. It is part of the winemaker's "Esprit du lieu" series of single-plot cuvées.
Vinification
Danis dans la vigne's single-plot cuvées are vinified with a certain neutrality to respect the grape variety (in this case, Malbec), the soil, and the vintage. In this case, the 2022 vintage was hot and the wine comes from the finest plot, a place called Paoudou.
Tasting
Paoudou is a sunny, dense and fruity wine, with substance. It requires decanting to fully express its character. Typically Cahors Malbec: Paoudou is full of presence, energy, with a little austerity. It is a wine for red meats, roasts and stews.

Mec Mortel Rouge 2022
Danis dans la vigne
Mec mortel is a 100% Cahors Malbec red wine, organic and natural, made by Danis Bessières of Danis dans la vigne. With a low alcohol content (11.5% vol.), it is a small-production red wine from the Southwest of France and classified as a Vin de France.
Vinification
Under the name Mec mortel, Danis Bessières makes his new wine every year, bottled immediately after vinification. Made from the Malbec grape variety, this Southwest wine is made to be drunk early. Its acidity gives it a certain longevity, but a new wine is not a wine for laying down and there is little point in keeping it.
Tasting
Mec mortel is a new wine, everything is in the description: fluid, light, fresh, easy to drink, "loaded with cherry" as Danis says. Deliciously fruity and crisp, lots of morello cherry. Summer wine, wine for pleasure, wine for friends, to be served chilled and paired with everything you like.

Covenant Red 2020
Danis dans la Vigne
An exceptional Malbec, matured in the silence of the cellar
Covenant 2020 embodies the philosophy of long-term patience. A truly unique cuvée by Danis dans la Vigne, crafted with rare precision. This 100% Malbec, organically grown on the clay-limestone soils of deep Cahors, is naturally vinified without unnecessary oenological intervention, with a short maceration, then aged for three years in barrels, topped up only once a year. This demanding, bold method allows the wine to concentrate, oxidize slowly, and round out in a near-oxidative dynamic, before a year in stainless steel tanks, then a year of rest in the bottle.
A mature, complex, accomplished wine that contrasts with the sometimes raw image of Malbec. Covenant lives up to its name: a true pact between time, matter, and the winemaker's craft.
Deep, enveloping, meditative
Upon serving, the wine reveals a dark color with deep garnet reflections. The nose is captivating: bitter cocoa, sweet spices, stewed black fruit, truffle, almost a hint of leather. On the palate, it's a unique experience. The texture is velvety, full-bodied, yet perfectly balanced. The length is remarkable, persistent, with a saline finish. One senses a wine in full maturity, ready to be enjoyed, but also built for aging.
Covenant 2020 is perfect for noble red meats, game, a truffle dish, or even a dark chocolate dessert for the most adventurous. Serve at 16-18°C, without decanting, in a large glass that allows it time to breathe.
Antenet Cahors Rouge 1998
Danis dans la Vigne
A cellar gem, between family heritage and the depth of time
Here is a rare, almost confidential wine, which tells a story even before it is opened. Antenet 1998 is a unique cuvée, vinified more than twenty-five years ago by Danis's father, the current winemaker of the Danis dans la Vigne estate. This Cahors from another era, made from 100% Malbec, was crafted with respect for tradition and with a philosophy already very close to natural winemaking: short maceration, aging in concrete vats for two years, no oenological "makeup."
The typical clay-limestone soil of the Cahors vineyard produces an excellent keeping wine, with tannins polished by time and incredibly rich aromatics. At only 12% alcohol, it defies modern standards with its balance, freshness, and exceptional longevity.
A deep, aged, memory-filled wine
After more than two decades of rest, Antenet 1998 reveals a brick-red garnet color, with brown reflections. The complex and captivating nose unveils aromas of stewed black fruits, prune, blond tobacco, with a hint of undergrowth. On the palate, the texture is melted, ample, with a rare smoothness. This wine evokes a bygone era, yet remains strikingly delicious, perfect with roasted meats, game, or a dish rich in umami.
Served at 16-18°C, with no need for decanting, this wine is ready to be enjoyed. It is a liquid archive, a family treasure, to be discovered like reading a letter from the past.
Cahors Red 2018
A Cahors, quite simply: this 100% Malbec red wine, organic and natural, is produced by Danis Bessières and Domaine de l’Antenet in the Cahors AOC. It is, strictly speaking, Danis’s father’s Cahors, from a vintage that has already matured.
Vinification
The Malbec vines grow at Domaine de l’Antenet, in the Cahors region. The harvest is cultivated and vinified without additives or sulfites. "If I have the joy today of letting you taste these vintages from the past, it is thanks to the perseverance, talent and flair of my father. He knew very well how to give time the care to preserve the beautiful years, confident that he was in the capacity of well-made wine to travel the ages."
Tasting
Despite its six years of age, this Cahors from the Domaine de l'Antenet/Danis dans la vigne remains very marked by cherry, with body and noble aromas of an evolved wine that are beginning to manifest themselves: leather, undergrowth, hay, truffle, tobacco... Everything we love in Cahors. Powerful, full-bodied, but drinkable and very supple for the appellation.
