Frédéric Cossard

Frédéric Cossard is Burgundy's natural version, which is not all that common. He is also two entities: the Domaine de Chassorney, which he cultivates, and SARL Frédéric Cossard, where he vinifies grapes from Burgundy's most prestigious climats.

The Monts Luisants climate is one of the rare Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Crus to produce white wine. Frédéric Cossard crafts a wine of great precision here, always with a natural and low-intervention approach.

The color is pale, bright, with silver reflections. The nose opens with notes of citrus, white flowers, and white-fleshed fruits, accompanied by a very pronounced chalky minerality.

On the palate, the wine is straightforward, taut, with a lively acidity that structures the whole. The texture is fine, elegant, and the saline finish prolongs the tasting with intensity.

A great gastronomic white, ideal with seafood, noble fish, or refined cuisine. A rare and precious cuvée.
