Carignan, Syrah and Mourvèdre from old, low-yielding vines, requiring considerable work, especially on the more than rugged terrain of the Banyuls hillsides. This wine of great character presents all the distinction of red Collioure – density, depth, freshness, black fruits – with the minerality of the soil exactly transmitted: no wood, vinification is done in concrete, in whole bunches, and aging in stainless steel vats. Aging accentuates the depth of this wine. Notes of pepper and spices, long and balanced finish.
Natural wine without added sulfites.
