Le Rocher rouge 2018,
This infinitely silky and luscious red, mineral and very straightforward, is a Beaujolais-Villages that is ideally enjoyed between 14 and 16°C. It is made from Beaujolais Gamay grapes grown in the Combe Fleurette area, at an altitude of 550 meters and on an average 40% slope, facing south, on a plot of blue granite with very shallow soil. The vines, twenty-five years old, rest on a rocky outcrop. The harvest is aged in whole bunches for forty days with regular turning. After pressing, the young wine is aged on fine lees in Burgundy oak barrels. Bottling is done in the waning moon, without fining or filtration.

Nicolas Chemarin, nicknamed "P'tit Grobis" as a resident of Marchampt (Beaujolais), is the fourth generation of winemaker on his family wine estate in the Beaujolais-Villages appellation, on stony land where he crafts wines of surprising depth and sincerity. In 2005, he took over two hectares of his father's vines and in 2006 he produced his first vintages. In 2008, he acquired other vines and decided to devote himself solely to his estate, whose very steep terroir consists of poor, rocky soils on gray granite rock. The vines rest on the bedrock through very thin soil, and their roots plunge deep into the rock. Depending on the configuration of the soil, the vines are pruned in goblet or raised on stakes. Their average age is eighty years. The grape varieties, Gamay and Chardonnay, are classically Beaujolais. Nicolas also cultivates two other terroirs in the Régnié appellation: Les Bullats, with light, filtering sandy soils, and La Haute Ronze, very close to Morgon, whose deeper, clayey soils produce full-bodied wines. The vintages undergo long macerations (from 18 to 30 days) with punching down and temperature control (Nicolas works cold, around 20°C). The aging is done partially in thermoregulated concrete vats for a third, the remaining two thirds passing into barrels of four to ten wines in order to provide oxygenation but little or no woody sensation. Nicolas Chemarin is already very well known in the natural world for his sweet and fruity vintages, wines of pleasure, and for vintages from difficult and magnificent terroirs, provided with admirable and complex mineral, aromatic and spicy notes.
Du Bout des Lèvres White 2009
A pure, sweet Chenin Blanc that respects itself, Du bout des lèvres comes from schist soil where fifty-year-old vines grow, harvested at different stages of maturity. It is here that botrytis, or noble rot, is responsible for achieving this aromatic power on both the nose and the palate. It will be wonderful as an aperitif, accompanied by some salted butter biscuits.

My Sweet Navine White 2013
A small bottle but a great wine! A sweet white made from 100% Chenin, My Sweet Navine is produced from late harvests on the schist plot where the estate's other Chenins are also grown. A delicate amber color, with notes of citrus and candied fruit on the nose. On the palate, there is a surprising freshness despite the residual sugar: this is explained by the lack of sorting, as the grapes are at varying stages of ripeness. We thus benefit from green berries, ripe berries, and varying degrees of noble rot. and a light sparkle which gives way to a beautiful length, always with notes of candied fruit.

Oberer Altenberg White 2023,
A powerful and refined Gewurztraminer from a unique sandy terroir
The Oberer Altenberg 2023, from Domaine Einhart, is an exceptional Gewurztraminer that expresses all the richness of its terroir. Benoit Camus
Château Roulant is a Beaujolais red wine, organic and natural (Ecocert certified), made from Gamay. Classified as a Vin de France, it is produced by Benoît Camus at his Pierre Dorées estate, in the south of the appellation. Its name evokes the itinerant life once led by the winemaker, a former seasonal agricultural worker.
Vinification
The Gamay vines of Beaujolais grow on clay-limestone soils. The very steep plots prohibit any mechanized work. The harvest, carried out by hand, undergoes a three-week semi-carbonic maceration. The wine is aged in concrete vats for fifteen months.
Tasting
The Beaujolais wines from Pierre Dorées are structured, long-lasting, and beautifully fruity. Here, after admiring a bright garnet color, we find strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, and cranberry, with a beautiful acidity in the mid-palate giving way to a rich and voluptuous finish. Freshness and acidity, leather, earth, and some animal notes. Wonderful richness in the mouth that we will enjoy accompanying with cold meats and cured meats, poultry such as pigeon or duck. You might think he's itinerant, with his vintages called "Château roulant" or "Vagabond", but for Benoît Camus, it's a memory of his previous life, when he was a seasonal farmer in the Rhône Valley and as far as Roussillon. Since 2003, he has settled in Southern Beaujolais, in the Pierres Dorées terroir, to make organic (Ecocert) and natural wines.
Nature before, nature always
Before purchasing his seven-hectare estate from an old winemaker, the vines had not yet seen pesticides or chemical additives. Many in Beaujolais worked this way. He made his first vintage in 2006, "natural without knowing it," he says. A brief attempt at chemical spraying to treat grape worm definitively dissuaded him from adding anything to the vineyard or the cellar. He acquired Ecocert organic certification and continues to make natural wines.
The Pierre Dorées terroir
The southern Beaujolais, with its clay-limestone soils, produces wines that are more structured and powerful than those from the granite soils of the North. This is the profile presented by the reds of Benoît Camus, natural wines that are straight, dense and long-aging, with good acidity and well-integrated tannins, not forgetting abundant, rich and seductive fruit.

i Vicini Moscato White 2021
I Vicini Moscato is an organic, biodynamic, and natural macerated (orange) dry white wine from Jean-Yves Péron. Vinified in Savoie from Muscat d'Asti. It is part of the I Vicini series of cuvées, vinified in Savoie from organic grapes from Northern Italy. The muscats grow on very fine limestone soils, calcareous-magnesian, on a particularly cool site.
Vinification
The Muscat d'Asti grapes, harvested manually at good phenolic maturity, macerate for three months in vats on the skins, with punching down. Racking off in January, aging for one year in 300 l barrels. No filtration, fining or addition of sulfites.
Tasting
Straightness, tension and freshness: this very fine mountain Muscat offers the aromatic and musky nose specific to the grape variety, without any syrupy notes. A very present tannic structure balances the whole. On the palate, it is rich and powerful; we find the charming scent of Muscat in the retro-olfaction, but with the tension and freshness that Jean-Yves Péron favors for his dry whites. It’s a great table wine, not really for an aperitif, but for gastronomy, no limits.

Jean-Yves Péron skillfully embodies the organic, biodynamic, and natural renaissance of the Savoyard vineyard, which is based on varied soils and numerous indigenous grape varieties (Jacquère, Altesse, Mondeuse, etc.). At his Chevaline winery in the Bauges region, he vinifies the grapes from his plots in Conflans, near Albertville, and Fréterive, in the Isère valley.
High-altitude biodynamics
Jean-Yves Péron’s work follows the principles of minimal intervention. On narrow, steep surfaces, his mountain vines in micro-plots, worked by hand, receive no synthetic products, Jean-Yves preferring horsetail and nettle manure. The grapes are vatted in whole bunches and undergo semicarbonic maceration. Shortly before pressing, they are foot-trodden in the vat, then sent to two- or three-wine barrels for twelve months of aging on lees, before blending and resting in the vat. No sulfites are added, or as little as possible, and the wines are not fined or filtered.
Italian-Savoyard trade
Since 2011, a trading activity has allowed Jean-Yves Péron to buy the harvest from neighboring organic winegrowers and to collaborate with winegrowers from Northern Italy: this is the I Vicini series, which allows him to diversify the terroirs and deepen his experiences in winemaking and aging.
Le Coste White 2010
A blend of Malvasia and Moscato from the Le Coste estate, a volcanic Eden of natural wines located on the borders of Tuscany and Umbria. An orange color, an aromatic nose that unites herbaceous notes and candied fruit. The same battle is evident on the palate, with added hints of compote.

On south-facing schist hillsides at an altitude of 1,300 meters, Manuel Valenzuela has created this astonishing sweet red wine from the Xarab series, made from Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, raisined on the vine and harvested in December. The wine is rich, intense, and generous, loaded with candied red fruits.

Terroir, plots, and grape varieties
It is in the heart of the limestone soils of Cognac, in this region where the sky and the vines have harmonized for centuries, that Alain Chadutaud passionately cultivates his Ugni Blanc. On typical clay-limestone soil, the roots draw the freshness and minerality necessary for the expression of a perfectly balanced white Pineau. The 2015 vintage, bathed in sunshine and tempered by Atlantic breezes, allowed for perfect grape maturation, giving birth to a generous and precise cuvée.
Cultivation methods
True to a philosophy that respects living things, Alain Chadutaud works biodynamically, with constant attention to soil vitality and vine balance. No synthetic inputs, but gentle practices, meticulous soil work, and natural preparations to support the plant throughout its cycle. The harvest, carried out at full maturity, precedes the subtle blending of grape juice and homemade Cognac eau-de-vie, according to the traditional savoir-faire of Pineau des Charentes. Aging takes place slowly in barrels, in order to develop this characteristic aromatic complexity.
Tasting & pairings
From the very first nose, the Organic Pineau 2015 opens with a charming bouquet of candied fruits, dried apricot, and acacia honey, underscored by a hint of sweet almond. On the palate, the magic happens: the attack is lively, almost lemony, followed by a honeyed roundness that caresses the palate, supported by a tangy framework that prevents any heaviness. The balance is perfect, the persistence remarkable, leaving a sensation of freshness and deliciousness on the finish.
This is a Pineau of character, both sunny and invigorating, ideal as an aperitif, served chilled with iodine-flavored appetizers or cheese puff pastries. It also nobly accompanies pan-seared foie gras, highlighting its richness without overpowering it. For dessert, it pairs wonderfully with an almond tart, a dark chocolate lava cake, or even a well-aged Roquefort for an intense sweet and savory experience.

Marie and Vincent Tricot
Marie and Vincent Tricot's Vin de paille is undoubtedly a curiosity: it's a sweet wine made from 100% Auvergne Gamay, entirely organic and natural, made like a Vin de paille from the Jura. The harvest is dried on straw in an attic before pressing. We're not used to Gamay vinified this way, or even red wine vinified this way.
It's an experiment, but the result more than justifies the boldness. Drying on straw concentrates the sugar in the grape berries and accentuates the flavors. Only a drop remains in each berry, but what a drop! Sweet, caressing, syrupy, complex, this Vin de paille is a delight. Its color is not a pure red but an amber, and the nose is a veritable basket of slightly jammy fruits: plum, prune, raisins, strawberry. It is possible that a refermentation takes place in the bottle, which can give a sparkling attack to this wine, but it disappears quickly. On the palate, a delicious sweetness, lots of strawberry and pleasantness. Very easy to drink.

Among the generation of Auvergne winemakers who, at the dawn of the 21st century, are resurrecting the vineyards of this beautiful volcanic province of the Massif Central in organic and natural ways, Marie and Vincent Tricot are pioneers, and their name is well known to those who have long loved natural wine. After a varied winegrowing journey that took them from Beaujolais to Chile and from Chile to Costières-de-Nîmes, they landed in Auvergne, at the foot of the Puy de Dôme, in the commune of Orcet where they took over Claude Prugnard's vineyard, a land that had not seen the slightest chemical input for around thirty years. The estate is located on a hillside, on the left bank of the Allier, in a volcanic clay-limestone area neighboring the vineyards of Châteaugay, Chanturgue and Corent. They acquired it in 2003 and, since then, have been making wines from Auvergne Gamay, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with a little Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat. These rare and sought-after wines are mainly sold directly. They have a straight and flamboyant profile, and express themselves with as much character as simplicity.
Fleckstein 2023 White 2023,
A mineral and complex Riesling from an exceptional terroir
The Fleckstein 2023, from Domaine Einhart, is a superb expression of Riesling from clay-limestone soil, enhanced by artisanal vinification. After a low-temperature pre-fermentation maceration, designed to preserve the purity of the aromas while structuring the wine, this iconic grape variety was aged for one year in a sandstone egg. This unique container allows for a subtle exchange with the air, enhancing the wine's depth and texture while maintaining its freshness.
On the nose, this Riesling reveals an elegant aromatic blend of citrus, white peach, and white flower notes, enhanced by a flinty minerality typical of the terroir. On the palate, the attack is lively and crystalline, offering a beautiful tension supported by fruity flavors and dense salivation. Here, whole Muscat grapes are macerated for a few days to provide texture and complexity without losing the delicacy of the varietal. Fermentation is spontaneous, using indigenous yeasts, without oenological additives, followed by 5 months of aging in concrete egg, which promotes the wine's natural movement and gentle contact with the lees. The result: a lively, textured juice, yet with exemplary freshness.
A luminous and aromatic orange wine
