SP Subirat Parent Blanc 2018, Partida Creus
Subirat Parent, one of the oldest Catalan grape varieties, a close relative of Malvasia, remains rare even in its country of origin. The clay-limestone reinforces its freshness and integrity. The harvest is pressed after a three-day skin maceration. The must is settled and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats. It rests for three months in vats on fine lees before bottling. This wine is crisp and aromatic, with a nose of ripe white fruits, melon, and wildflowers. Agile on the palate, fresh and straightforward, lemony and slightly saline, with a long finish tinged with a delicate bitterness typical of the estate. The dry Muscat from Partida Creus is a white wine with a hint of orange, deliciously fresh, fragrant, and aromatic. The nose receives a hint of marzipan, the palate confirms this sensation by adding complex notes: lychee, pear, flowering meadow, plenty of freshness and crunch. Long and satiny finish. It goes very well with raw, grilled, or sauced fish, spicy dishes such as fish or poultry curries, Middle Eastern, Indian, and Sichuan cuisines.

Magnum Munjebel CR Rouge 2016

This pure Nerello Mascalese comes from a partially ungrafted vine, approximately seventy years old, on the Campo Re plot, in the far west of the valley, at an altitude of 735 meters. The soil is particularly deep, and ripeness is difficult to achieve during wet years. The grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed; skin-contact fermentation lasts about sixty days. No fining, filtration before bottling. The wines are deep, elegant, and tannic. Compared to other vintages from this estate, they are somewhat similar to Nebbiolo.

Magnum Rosso Red 2011
This generous Italian red is made from a blend composed primarily of Grechetto (a local variety related to Sangiovese), with the secondary grape varieties being Cannaiolo, Colorino, Ciliegiolo, and Vaiano, indigenous varieties planted in the vineyards on the volcanic soils of the Le Coste estate. Fermentation lasts about a month in French oak and chestnut vats. Rosso is then aged in Slovenian oak barrels. At first glance, a beautiful ruby color, a crisp and juicy palate, with notes of red and black fruits.

A blend of Malvasia and Moscato from the Le Coste estate, a volcanic Eden of natural wines located on the borders of Tuscany and Umbria. An orange color, an aromatic nose that unites herbaceous notes and candied fruit. The same battle is evident on the palate, with added hints of compote.

Magnum CV Ancestral sparkling white 2015, Partida Creus
Cartoixá vermell is another name for xarel·lo rosado, a traditional Catalan rosé grape variety brought up to date by Massimo and Antonella. This natural sparkling wine with its salmon-amber color is produced using the ancestral method, that is, refermentation in bottles and aging on lees for ten months. The harvest is done by hand and pressed directly; the must ferments in stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts and temperature control between 15 and 18 °C. Dry and fruity, fragrant and aromatic, it evokes ripe white fruits and white flowers on the nose. Very lively and fresh on the palate. Serve it as an aperitif; it can then accompany you until dessert.

Xarab Garnacha Red 2009
On south-facing schist hillsides at an altitude of 1,300 meters, Manuel Valenzuela has created this astonishing sweet red wine from the Xarab series, made from Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, raisined on the vine and harvested in December. The wine is rich, intense, and generous, loaded with candied red fruits.

Pikade Rouge 2013, Gianfranco Manca Panevino
A blend of two century-old vines: Carignan on quartz and Monica on schist. Fermentation and aging are done in stainless steel vats. Fine, elegant, fresh, this wine for all occasions will keep for about ten years. It evokes red fruits on the bitterness: pomegranate, cranberry. The smoky and earthy note is also very present and persists in the finish.

Munjebel FM Rouge 2016, Frank Cornelissen
The Feudo di Mezzo plot, from which this Munjebel red comes, is very large. It is divided into two parts: the sottana, the lower part, and the soprana, or Porcaria, which is the upper part. Although relatively lower than the estate's other plots, it produces wines of remarkable elegance. The soil is quite deep, which can pose maturation problems in wet years, but the plot benefits from good ventilation, which compensates for this disadvantage. This wine is all Burgundian elegance and roundness, even in hot years: it is characterized by its finesse and adapts to the most varied dishes.

This entry-level red from Azienda Frank Cornelissen is composed of Nerello Mascalese and a few other varieties grown on the estate: Malvasia, Moscadella, and Catarratto. The grapes are destemmed, lightly crushed, and undergo approximately sixty days of skin maceration. It is the aromatic expression of Etna, a vintage produced and blended traditionally, mixing plots and grape varieties. The result is a wine with a rich and voluptuous nose, elegant and fluid, endowed with structure and a strong personality. Aging potential: ten years. Serving temperature: 14-15°C. Open twenty minutes before tasting. Pairings: all summer dishes, from marinated red peppers to grilled lamb and antipasti.
