He trained with the greatest: Marco Pierre White in London, the Negresco in Nice, La Tour d’Argent and Lasserre in Paris, and Le Cygne in Geneva. Barbara is more about fine wine, particularly Loire Valley Chenin. The daughter of a wine merchant in Poitiers and a former dancer at the Paris Opera, she returned to her father's cellar following an accident. Then she met Christophe: the two of them would put their passion for cooking and fine produce to good use. In 2003, they opened their restaurant, Le Bonheur est dans le pré, in Lucinges—he in the kitchen, she in the dining room—and ran it for ten years.

After the restaurant closed, Christophe took on the role of brewer and took over the Voirons microbrewery. He completely revises the copy: the objective is a lively, organic beer (Nature & Progrès label), fine and distinctive, which will be named Lug in homage to the town of Lucinges. The water comes from the Voirons spring, on the outskirts of the village, from the same water table as that of Evian. The hops and barley, from Belgium and Germany, are 100% organic, and our brewers know how to add a touch of madness and take care of the taste in full logic of their culinary approach. There are five vintages: white, blonde, brown, red and special gentian. Always balanced, to be paired with a good meal, these are beers of craftsmanship and cook. All of them are top-fermented with refermentation in the bottle, they are unfiltered and unpasteurized, with an alcohol content of 6 degrees.
