Made from ungrafted old-growth Merweh vines, aged 100 to 180 years, this wine comes from north-facing plots located between 900 and 1,300 meters above sea level. The wild vines, scattered among olive and oak trees, are rooted in complex soils of limestone, clay, sand, and blue marl.
Vinified and aged for 12 months in stainless steel tanks on lees, it expresses great freshness, a subtle texture, and remarkable depth, a reflection of a rare and preserved terroir. A confidential production of 2,500 bottles.
