It's midsummer, the weather is beautiful, and the Sunday afternoon terrace awaits us: forget heavy tannins, this tasting will be all about freshness, with little and big juices that flow easily when the sun shines! And as always, the tasting will be led by Enzo, the head sommelier at the natural wine HQ, YARD Paris 11th!

HOW DOES THE TASTING WORK?

Are you looking for a place to discover new natural wines? Le YARD Paris is the perfect place! Every Sunday, the sommeliers organize a 1.5-hour tasting, where you can taste 4 to 5 vintages and learn more about the terroirs and winemakers. You can sit at the cellar counter - or on the terrace if the sun is out - and enjoy a moment of conviviality and sharing with the other participants. The sommeliers are passionate and experts in their field, and they will share their knowledge and love for natural wines with you. They will help you develop your palate and your understanding of these unique wines, and will give you the keys to truly appreciating natural wines. value.

TASTING THEME: JUICY WINES, WHAT ARE THEY?

A "juicy wine" in literal French is "a juicy wine": in the world of wine (natural or not), you may also hear about "petits jus". Don't get confused, a "petit jus" can absolutely be a great wine! Its primary quality: its drinkability. Forget heavy tannins or ultra-oxidative aromas: we're talking about fresh wines, perfect bottles for a tasting in the middle of summer like this one, "glouglou" vintages that we'll be happy to drink on the terrace.

For the occasion, head sommelier Enzo sources his wines from estates whose reputation is well established. First, we take a tour of the Jura with one of the gems of Alice Bouvot, the owner of the L'Octavin estate. We then head to the Loire, south of Anjou thanks to Pic Epeiche. Then we set sail: towards Greece with the small grain muscats from the island of Samos from Patrick Bouju and his Sous le Végétal estate! And finally, we take you to Serbia: yes, yes, you read that right! This is where the Bongiraud Wines winemakers settled, after having honed their expertise in Burgundy.
