Dolce & Cabanon Red 2024

La Tribu Alonso

Terroir, plot size and grape varieties

It is in the heart of Beaujolais, in a rural corner where vines grow undisturbed, that Dolce & Cabanon 2024 is born, an atypical, vibrant, and charming red wine. This cuvée, crafted by La Tribu Alonso, defies conventions with panache: it blends no fewer than 52 hybrid grape varieties, including 30% Seibel 54/55, enhanced by the aromatic freshness of Muscat Petit Grain—a rarity in red wines, here sublimely expressed. This vegetal kaleidoscope gives rise to a free and untamed wine, like a wild garden where every plant finds its place.

Cultivation methods

The vines are cultivated with care, in harmony with nature and the seasons, without haste or dogma. Each vine is tended by hand, each bunch harvested with respect, in a profoundly artisanal approach. This attentive work in the soil, this partnership with nature, allows the grape varieties, classic or forgotten, to express themselves with precision and spontaneity. In the cellar, the same philosophy prevails: simple gestures, intuitive winemaking, to let the wine speak for itself.

Tasting & pairings

Dolce & Cabanon 2024 is a juicy, supple, and easy-drinking red wine, both generous and light. From the first sniff, it seduces with its notes of ripe red fruit, enhanced by a touch of herbaceousness and spice. Then come almost unexpected hints of citrus, which refresh the whole and give this wine a playful, slightly mischievous rhythm. On the palate, the tannins express themselves gently, creating an elegant structure, always carried by freshness.

The perfect companion for summer barbecues, flame-grilled meats, or evenings in the garden with friends, this is a wine that invites sharing and simple moments. But behind this unabashed conviviality lies true craftsmanship, a quest for balance between rusticity and finesse, between nature and culture.
