THE EVENT

To celebrate the release of the vintage Perspectives, the YARD — a natural wine institution in Paris — is hosting a special evening on June 10. The opportunity to discover this unique white in an unmissable location, in the presence of the two winemakers: Cyril Alonso and Jacques Juillard. A relaxed atmosphere, rich discussions and a tasting at the bar and restaurant: everything comes together for a warm moment around living wine.

THE WINEGROWERS

Cyril Alonso is a winegrower in Beaujolais, at La Tribu Alonso, a conservatory estate with over 140 regional grape varieties, grown organically. He produces natural wines, driven by indigenous yeasts and respect for the terroir. A pioneer of free wine, he works in synergy with his partner Karine. Very close to Jacques Juillard, winegrower at Domaine de la Sorbière in Burgundy, they share a common vision of wine and agriculture. It was only natural that they created the cuvée Perspectives, on the border of their two regions.

LA CUVÉE PERSPECTIVES

Perspectives Blanc 2024 is a Chardonnay from a plot in the Burgundy AOC, on the edge of Beaujolais. Grown on schist soils without synthetic additives, it is vinified by direct pressing and aged for six months in amphorae. This luminous white, without unnecessary oenological interventions, embodies purity and freshness. It develops aromas of fresh lemon, honeysuckle and a touch of salt. Its taut and crystalline palate seduces with its balance and long finish. Serve chilled, as an aperitif or with food. Ageing: 5 to 10 years.
