The tastings are hosted in an interactive manner and friendly, so that you can feel comfortable and fully enjoy the experience.

BEAUJOLAIS IN THE SPOTLIGHT

The Beaujolais wine-growing terroir, located in the south of Burgundy, is characterized by granite and schist soils that give the wines their unique characteristics. The vineyards, facing east and southeast, benefit from a temperate climate and good sun exposure, promoting the ripening of the grapes. Beaujolais crus, such as Morgon and Fleurie, are produced on specific soils, such as granite sandstone and schist, which influence the typicity of the wines. Beaujolais wines are mainly made from the red Gamay grape variety, which expresses itself differently depending on the soil and exposure. Wines made from Granite soils are generally fruity and light, while those produced on schist soils are more complex and structured. The diversity of Beaujolais terroirs and soils allows for the production of a variety of wines, ranging from generic Beaujolais to the most prestigious vintages, all characterized by their freshness and fruit. Beaujolais wines are thus renowned for their typicity and quality.

This is the theme that Enzo has chosen to explore for this week, all accompanied by the bowling of renowned winemakers in natural Beaujolais, such as Nicolas Chemarin, Nestor Bélicard or Cyril Alonso, the winemaker at the head of a conservatory of forgotten grape varieties.
