Cerro la Monjas 1368 Red 2003, Barranco Oscuro
Cerro Las Monjas 1368 (the altitude at which the vines grow) is one of the most prestigious and sought-after vintages of Barranco Oscuro; and when you experience its velvety texture, depth, and elegance, it's no surprise. It's made from Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Merlot grown in a mountainous environment on schisto-clay soils. This earthy, complex, and distinguished wine, yet surprisingly accessible to all palates, offers a rich, dense texture and flavor that is earthy, fruity, and smoky. Beautiful, bracing acidity, cedar wood, blackcurrant, and cigar box. Like a great Bordeaux that hasn't forgotten to bask in the sun. Very high aging potential.
Natural wine with no added sulfites.
