Hautes Côtes de Beaune Puits de Chaux Rouge 2013, Domaine de Chassorney
This Pinot Noir comes from the Puits de Chaux plot in Hautes Côtes de Beaune. The hilly, west-facing terroir is located between 280 and 450 meters above sea level. The soils are dominated by marl formations and limestone scree. The grapes macerate in whole bunches. Aging is approximately one year in barrels.
